1. The Breeder has done everything possible to produce healthy sound Kitten. Kitten was checked by a Licensed Veterinarian and found free of  disabling or life threatening defects. The Kitten has received all appropriate shots for the age of Kitten . Buyer is responsible to maintain shots by a licensed Veterinarian. Please check with your veterinarian for recommended shots and schedule. The buyer agrees to have Kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of delivery or pickup. If a health defect is found I am to be called by the owner and the veterinarian immediately before treatment options are rendered. A copy of the vet check is to be mailed in provided  envelope. If the buyer does not take the Kitten to a licensed vet within 72 hours of taking possession, this warranty becomes null and void. Kitten will be covered for two years for disabling or life threatening defects due to my breeding program. Breeder is not responsible for accidents, injury due to accidents, lack of vet care or medical mistakes, improper diet, care or lack of training. If  Kitten is returned for disabling or life threatening defect(s), Kitten will be taken to my vet for confirmation when possible. Current health records and this contract (photocopies not accepted) must be sent to breeder. If Kitten is sold out of state a possible second opinion may be required at buyers expense. Both results with health records must be sent to breeder. If disabling or life threatening defect(s) are confirmed, buyer will receive another Kitten of similar quality. Buyer can elect to keep the Kitten , assuming all costs for its care or may return the Kitten for a replacement. If cat is kept warranty is void. If sudden death occurs an autopsy must be performed. Results and current health records must be sent to breeder before replacement will be made. I can not guarantee the same color or markings for replacement Kitten .


2. Kitten are sold as Pets and are required to be neutered or spayed after 8 months of age and before 12 months.  Proof of neutering/spaying must be sent by mail, envelope has been provided by seller. Please keep a copy for your records. Electronic submission is not acceptable. If terms are not met, buyer is responsible to pay a $5,000.00 fee for failure of agreed terms and Kitten must be spayed or neutered. If buyer breeds and breaks contract the buyer will be responsible to pay a $10,000.00 fee. Cat and Kittens will become property of Loki Maine coon. If either party is forced to take legal action for any part of this contract, action shall be initiated in the county of sellers residence. This extends to internet sales across state lines. Any legal fees and court costs shall be the responsibility of the party found in default.


If Kitten is being sold with Registration Papers fees and submission is the responsibility of the buyer. Registration papers will not be sent until verification is sent to Breeder/Seller That the Cat/Kitten has been Spayed/Neutered At that time. Registration papers will be sent to Purchasers residence. Purchaser agrees that his/her Cat is using the kennel name of      _____Yes registration        _____No registration    


3. Kitten are sold as “Pet Quality/Family Friendly” which is defined as a kitten/Cat that is not guaranteed to show or finish in confirmation classes. Although this Kitten is being sold as a pet, we here at Loki Maine Coon strive to produce quality, excellent confirmation, loyal friend, and brains in our Maine coon. 

4. Seller is not responsible for any vet bills after Kitten leaves the care of Loki Maine coon. Any and all vet bills are the responsibility of the buyer. NO exceptions. All shipping costs related to any Kitten being purchased, as well as in relationship to any Kitten being replaced for any reason, are the responsibility of the buyer. 

5. We highly recommend  to avoid high traffic area such as  parks, cat shows and pet stores until the completed vaccinations are done.  This can increase risk of transmitted Diseases.

Health guarantee does not cover any parasites, internal or external as this is treatable. Some disorders may be caused by environmental factors, for example: coccidia, giardia, fleas, mites and worms.. Our Kitten are vet checked prior to leaving our home and you will be provided with his/her medical findings. 

6. Seller is not responsible for hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) or the effects of any stress related illness due to travel. Buyer must make certain that their Kitten eats, drinks and gets plenty of rest.

7. Buyer takes full responsibility of care of Kitten such as proper diet, adequate exercise, supervision, necessary health care including yearly vaccines and needed worming.

8. That he/she is not acting as an agent in this purchase, that the buyer will not resell this puppy to a pet store or medical research facility. At no time will this Kitten /Cat be placed in an animal rescue or animal shelter. Buyer will contact Loki Maine coon to provide a new home or help place your Kitten/Cat in a suitable home. For returning Kitten/Cat it must be tested for FeLV, FIV


9. Breeder is not responsible for allergic reactions or family dispute over purchasing a Kitten . If you are not able to keep Kitten and deposit is made it will not be refunded.

10. The buyer agrees that if Kitten is not picked up by release date set by seller, there will be a $10.00 a day boarding fee, unless other arrangements are made in advanced.  If Kitten is required to have any age appropriate shots buyer  is responsible for expenses.

11. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse sale at any time.

Buyer has read and understands conditions of this contract. This is a binding agreement enforced by Civil Law. Buyer and seller agree that this contract will be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. If either party is forced to take legal action to enforce any part of this contract, action shall be initiated in the county of the sellers residence. This also extends to internet sales across state lines. Any legal fees and court costs shall be the responsibility of the party to be found in default. This contract may not be altered or modified unless agreed to in writing by both parties. This sales contract is nontransferable. Should buyer relinquish ownership of the Kitten for any reason this contract shall be deemed null and void. 

At time of pickup Kitten shows no visible signs of illness, broken bones or lameness. If Kitten is injured on an airline delivery or delivery service, breeder must be contacted immediately.
